having fun baking!!!

We have been having so much fun making these cute reindeer cookies we just wanted to share them with you. We first made PB cookie dough we made a big roll and shaped it into a triangle and wrapped it and refridgerated it over night, then we cut the dough out about 1/2 in. thick and put it on the pan we then put the pretzels on the two corners on top as the antlers and baked it for about 10 mins. then when they were done we put the chocolate chips on as eyes (as they cooled on the pan) and red DOTS as the nose. MMMMMM....... they are so good. The idea was from pilsbury and they said to use their already made dough, either gingerbread or PB, but I didn't have theirs so I did my own, Constantly improvising, that's me!
we had fun together doing this and now Clayton has some to bring to his friends and classmates tomorrow for his special "Super Star" spotlight. I will have to get some pics of Clayton and his spotlight poster and him presenting it in school tomorrow. We had fun talking about stories to share and things that are special about him. He is really a special little guy, I have loved him since the day I knew I was pregnant and still love him today. Of coarse I won't leave Ella out, she had tonz of fun helping with the cookies and taking pictures with her brother too. She is the sweetest girl ever and could literally eat sweets all day if I would let her, i don't so we're ok, but she's also the girl who loves V8 the original.
I have the best kids in the world. I am truly blessed. I love spending time with them and teaching them and playing with them. They are always here for me and when I need help they never hesitate to pitch in.

Fun at the Ward Christmas party

Ella did not want to see Santa at all, but he was still nice to bring her a little gift bag, in tears she said "Thank You" she's so cute.

Clayton right up to Santa when it was his turn, he was so excited, not scared a bit. He told him he wanted big huge monster trucks and dump trucks!

She saw Santa and just held my leg as tight as she could, she was so scared, poor girl!

Ella ready for her first day of Preschool!

Ella started preschool!

Ella was so good when I dropped her off at preschool yesterday. She went into her classroom immediately went to the play area where there's a little kitchen and just started playing, I talked with her teacher for a minute then left. She didn't cry or come after me at all. I am so proud of her. Now if I could get Clayton to just go in his class without crying for me I would be so happy. I know some things just take time, I also know that it's really good for him to go to preschool and that he likes it, but it's the departing from mom part that is the hardest.
I almost didn't know what to do yesterday while they were both in school for an hour and a half at the same time. I went to a store and met the woman who owns it who's a wife to a coworker of my husbands and we talked and I went to another store (alone, no whining about not wanting to be there, no worrying about what the kids are touching) it was weird, but nice. Then I picked Clayton up and then picked Ella up, we came home and played and hung out for a while, played outside cause it was still sunny and clear and nice. We then had dinner and played some more, read some stories, read and watched the Book of Mormon stories online then got ready for bed. That's pretty much a typical day for us, but it varies depending on circumstances of coarse.
All I can say is that we're all happy and doing really well. I am so blessed to have my family and know what love is.
